CSP Training

Candidate Support Provider Trainings are for anyone interested in supporting teachers through the NBPTS process.  Teachers who have earned their National Board Certification have an advantage in becoming a CSP, but it is not necessary to be an NBCT to be a successful Candidate Support Provider.  CSP Training covers bias identification, support scenarios, connections to statewide teacher evaluation, expectations of ethical support, and adult learning strategies.

Network Affiliated CSP Support

Network Affiliated Candidate Support Providers meet throughout the year in person or through Zoom (video conference platform) to discuss strategies of support and problems that occur when supporting candidates completing components.  CSPs set up communication strategies, and statewide connections to support each other in component completion.
